@SteMMo Wheter you ask for money or not does not matter. What matters is whether you fulfill the OSS licenses. There are some things many OSS licenses ask you to do:

Provide licenses texts in some form, so the user can see which OSS licenses are used Give the user possibility to exchange OSS libraries with own versions (this one can be tricky with embedded boards)

If in doubt you should ask a lawyer and/or QtCompany.

Since 5.15.5 is a commercial version you should ask the Qt support for help.

Building OpenSSL with the no-threads option solve the problem in my case.

I don't really search deeper what is the consequences of that build option but maybe it can help someone ;)

I've gotten the same problem with my static build of Qt 5.15.2.

The solution in my case (using CMake) was to call qt5_import_qml_plugins:

get_target_property(QT_TARGET_TYPE Qt5::Core TYPE) if(${QT_TARGET_TYPE} STREQUAL "STATIC_LIBRARY") find_package(Qt5QmlImportScanner REQUIRED) qt5_import_qml_plugins(${CMAKE_PROJECT_NAME}) endif()

Not sure what is the equivalent in Qt 6, haven't tested it myself and can't find qt6_import_qml_plugins in documentation.

Anyway, qt5_import_qml_plugins is available only from Qt 5.14(?), so for older versions the alternative would be this external module.

I just saw that a QNetworkReply::TimeoutError code exists. Shouldn't this code be set when a timeout occurred ? Is this a bug or did I misunderstand something ?

I think it just for a static QObject like QFile in Application ...
It can solve with static function to create a static object in first call...

I tried to build OpenGL Under QML example (https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtquick-scenegraph-openglunderqml-example.html). I get same error with version 5.14.1, but it works fine with version 5.15.2.
