    Hey all,
Everytime I open Qt Design Studio and click 'create project' the UI freezes and I have to kill it from the task manager. Any ideas what I can do to fix this? I've restarted, uninstalled and reinstalled.. etc etc still no luck..
Thanks in advance for any info

Which Qt Design Studio version, which operating system? which hardware it is running on? maybe it is better to create a bug report.

I am also having this problem. Windows 11, Design Studio 4.6.2. It occurred after I opened a project from which I had generated CMake, then built the project, and the compiler failed because it ran out of memory. Next time I opened design studio, it hung.

        • I tried deleting the two projects that were shown as recent for design studio, in case it was about them...still hangs on create.
        • I tried rebooting. Same
        • I tried uninstalling, deleting the DesignStudio folder in my profile, then reinstalling. Still hangs.
        • I tried unchecking several plugins, as suggested on some online comments. This does allow it to create a project, but I could not find a combination of plugins to remove that still allowed you to import assets. I want to use the Figma bridge, so this is no help.

It turns out it was due to a the modal Create Project dialog showing up...somewhere. the only way I ever got it to work was by unplugging my second monitor. So there seems to be a screen selection problem that somehow got activated.
