unfortunately we are not able to reactivate the tests. What comes to your retake voucher, it is completely up to Pearson/Test Center to issue refunds or similar.

As mentioned, the new testing platform is in the development and we are aiming to get it live by the end of the year. I understand your challenging situation, and I will send you an email regarding the test, if you wish to take one, in the upcoming new platform.

good morning Emilia, since I need to certify Qt with the "021-002 Widget UI and Application Engine with Qt" and "010-003 Qt and QML Essentials", some teams that I manage by the end of 2024, can I trust that the test sessions for Qt 5 will be available again by the end of this year?

Hi @Polimar75, we are working to get the new certificate tests (and the tests you mentioned) out by the end of the year. However, it is challenging to estimate the exact timeline and therefore I cannot make any promises.

Do you have any information about when the Qt5 based tests are aimed to be released? Is there a chance it will be this year?
Also, for how long they will be available?

Also, is there a course currently available that would cover the topics for the currently offered Qt 6.8 Foundation course? I have in mind "Qt object model, signals and slots, the meta-object system, event handling, and working with Qt strings and containers" and more. If not, can a custom course be ordered that would cover this topic?

The first of the Qt5 tests should be out very soon. The remaining two will be published later. Two out of three tests should be out during this year. Please follow https://www.qt.io/qt-certifications for updates.

Professional Services offers custom training for preparing for the Qt Foundation 6.8 course: https://www.qt.io/qt-professional-services/training. You can also use Qt Academy courses to prepare for the test; however, no one course is specifically for the test.
