Boot to Qt for Raspberry pi Compute Module 5? (Plus IO board)
-
Hi,
I'm looking to develop a GUI app which will run on a Compute Module 5 (CM5), and boot to Qt looks like a good option.
https://doc.qt.io/Boot2Qt/b2qt-qsg-raspberry.html
I see Raspberry pi 5 is supported, would it be possible to use the Qt tools to develop for the CM5? Would there be some changes required the boot to Qt image being flashed? If not, is this something that will be supported in future releases of Qt?
I'm new to embedded Linux development, so just seeing what's possible.

Hi and welcome to devnet,
The CM5 seems to be based on the same hardware as the RPi5 so it's likely compatible with Boot2Qt. You might have better answer contacting the Qt Company directly since it's a commercial offering and this forum is user oriented.

@ant1882 Has anyone found a solution for this?
I managed to get Boot2Qt running on a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5, but I’m experiencing a display issue. The screenshot below shows what appears on the monitor. Does anyone know how to fix this?
