How to use qmllint with modules

Hello! I'm trying to use qmllint but I just can't get it to work with modules - it can't find the modules in any way I'm trying to pass the module folder. Plus there are almost no tutorials for it. Is qmllint even useable nowadays?

There is an open Qt bug with title "How to use qmllint on multiple components in one project" here: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-120442

That bug report seems perhaps relevant? There are a lot of comments there. Maybe some will give you clues.
