Ahm... no animations please. These are so... so.... late 90ies when everything was blinking and moving and with bizarre colours :-)

but we can't overact with realism, we must keep restraint in everythink :) I am for a little animations with some realism.

sorry for my broken english :)

You're so lucky! These web pages undoubtedly were retina carcinogenic!

I can work on the border but animating ants realistically is probably beyond my designer skills. I may be able to write one ant behavior simulator given the parameters :)

Please join in the fun... I don't need to be the only developer trying to play designer. :)

                    Realism surcharge :D

[EDIT[2]] it was in reply to Volker.

And I'm not really interested in an animated icon. For "this icon":https://sourceforge.net/userapps/mediawiki/w-peuker/nfs/user/w/w-/w-peuker/5/55/Devnet-meta-group.svg, I even resisted color gradients.

Oh, I had some fun with the German and Mac group logos - my demands are satisfied in that subject :-)

The current one was actually made by Gerolf's wife if I recall correctly. My creative part on this one was to put it into the right place :-)

The current icon is really wonderful.
I cannot see how to "improve" it.

[EDIT] I'm talking about this: !http://i51.tinypic.com/2hxr136.png!
