I found pages in the wiki like, "this":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Hybrid_application_with_Qt, "this":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Qt_configureation_options, "this":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/http:processors.wiki.ti.comindex.phpBuilding_Qt , "this":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/How_to_speed_up_Qt_Windows_Vc_Build or "this":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/How_to_build_64bit_Qt_for_windows without format or with only a link as a content. There is a process to report these cases?

So, pages can be send to admins (qt or member admins) and they can act. I know there are some pages with only one line, and everyone should think, if one line in a wiki page is really helpful or not. Perhaps some of them should be combined or the content could be added to another page with similar content.

EDIT: But I'm not an admin :-)

Why admin anyone can edit the wiki. If some articles are not formatted properly anyone willing to can fix it.

Edit yes, but remove if not needed (like empty ones) is only possible for admins. So you can edit them, move the content, yes. But if you want to merge pages, some empty ones will stay. And you can't remove them :-) That's what I wanted to say.

Just to see the good side of the things: just think about how easy to translate those pages (and actually write them...) :D

Yes, in case of blank pages and all, may be we should consult with the author of the page - when he/she intends to update it. And then have it removed if no action is taken. This can be initiated by admins as well.

Also maybe once Project Elf is over we will see less of blank articles and other such content.

If the page contains only two lines of texts, it's much easier to translate than two pages of text :-)

Or if it contains only a link, you should just copy it to a new page :) But, seriously, I do not want to give hints to anybody, it was only a (sad) joke.

The wiki needs some love, I agree. Sometimes it's hard to judge if someone intends to work more on a page and has simply not gotten around to it or if the page is abandoned. Every user can report content if it looks suspicious in any way. A meaningful message is appreciated but in general we usually figure things out. :)

When it comes to guidelines to create pages I think it's fair to create a page if you have something meaningful you want to put in there. It doesn't have to be a novel. In the end, others can improve your content and add to it. One liners are usually not very helpful though.

That brings me to a related topic: the revision notes. If you create a page that doesn't have a lot of content, why don't you make a note saying what the plan is or explaining what you were thinking when you created the page.

You know, I am more happy with the fact that with lots of effort I was able to bring together the Hungarians in a group. Know we have a good foundation for a strong local community.

Many time people start a page to write good text, but it may not be possible to write every thing at that point of time and the author may have idea to come back again and add up more and so on, so in the beginning if there is one or few lines in the wiki this does not mean that page should be removed or killed. In my opinion we should give ample of amount of time for users to put in the text he/she wanted.

But then the original author could leave a note and should really come back in a reasonable time. One can also prepare the wiki article at the personal computer and put it in the public wiki once its in a finished state. I personally regard published content as "finished" from the original authors point of view.

Yes it would be best if author puts some sort of Note. And alo if no note is there admin can put one warning that the wiki article will be removed if not improved within a period of time.

The only issue is that only a very few people can tell you if eg. a Hungarian wiki article is ready or not (eg. I filled all planned paragraphs with blah-blah like text as a placeholder).
