I didn't think Qt for Symbian is mature enough to need a book !!! Hopefully the information in this book will not render useless/irrelevant in few months time. Well I might be wrong here :)

Although I have not yet reviewed the book, I felt it is the right time to launch this book as people who are interested in starting up with developing applications in Qt for Mobile can benefit from yet.
The book covers general Qt topics like Signals and Slots, Qt Object Model and specific ones like Qt Mobility API. If I am not wrong then these are not going to change much in the near future.

It's available now at Amazon. So you can remove the "coming soon" tag from the title.

Me too, I think we must wait QT 4.7 stable first an than a book will be useful.

Tip: It's cheaper to buy this book on Amazon, if you decide to do so. ;) -

Can anyone say what type this book is? Is it some learning course for beginners or it can be used as reference in regular development (for example like a Stroustrup "The C++ Programming Language ") too?

IMHO, it's for beginners. It contains a basics description, Qt Creator review, QtMobility examples review, etc. And it really thin (something about 180 pages + table of contents, etc.).
