Qt Quarterly issue 34
-
Hi
Do you have any infos on Qt Quarterly 34 ? Release date, Subjects, etc.
Thanks
-
We're aiming to produce something in this quarter, obviously. :-)
The articles aren't finalized yet, though I intend to write another one about XML Patterns because I have some code I didn't use in the previous article.
Are you interested in contributing an article?

Hi
For writing an article, not immediately. May be one day, when I have an interesting topic.
I'm writer for french Qt community and we translate some article from Qt Quarterly for users (http://qt-quarterly.developpez.com/). This translations are awaited (over 1000 visits in one week for the last translated article : Building Next Generation UIs Across Platforms with Qt, by Johan Thelin, QQ32).
We are very excited to have the next quarterly.
Thanks

It's very interesting to see the French versions of the articles! I'll talk to the others working on the newsletter and I'll try and let you know what is happening.

We have just finished licensing the HTML articles from our site to enable others to translate and republish the articles from Qt Quarterly. It looks like you are already following the main conditions of the license for your translations, but you might want to take a look at the legal code:
"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/legalcode(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/legalcode)":http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/legalcode
We recommend that, instead of simply applying the same license to your translations, you use the compatible French language version:
"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/deed.fr(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/deed.fr)":http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5/deed.fr
Once again, thank you and the other translators for taking the time to translate the articles. I'll try and let you know when more articles are on the way.
