Was looking for this info ... and thought will also share it

IE hit big time, steady rise of chrome and safari .."OS trends":http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_os.asp
small but steady gains for linux and mac at cost of very minor drop in windows? -

I can not belive that the ie as so less users. I know a lot of people which have nothing to do with computers, they all use ie, because they know nothing else :-(

Closer to home, here is the last month for DevNet, as reported by Google Analytics:
We have around 1% of IE 6 traffic, nearly all from China. This site doesn't work in IE 6 (you get a warning) so that probably has something to do with it :)

Does Safari here equate to Webkit?

Add together Safari and Chrome for the WebKit total. Konqueror can also use the WebKit engine, but the web stats doesn't say which engine it uses.

But that is a very specific crowd, that often has much more control over their machines than your average office donkey that has a complete lockdown of his machine.
