I have been trying to work a little bit with video lately so I am trying the examples that come with Qt.

One of them, the media player example has options for contrast, hue, etc. Changing those options though has no effect on the video currently playing.

Moreover the histogram bar at the bottom remains black at all time.

Why is this, could it be something to do with my machine?

      Hi,

It's probably more related to the backend used, what OS are you running on ?

Running it on Mac Os Mavericks produces the results I described (no histogram or colour change).

Running it on Win7 produces the histogram but again changing the hue or saturation has no effect.

I have not as of now tested it on Linux.

I did not make any changes at the example at all, so it should be as provided but Qt.
