I am waiting to be approved at "Qt BlackBerry and QNX" group. Please approve me and I'll send you my proposition.
I want to port the Qt release of my open-source mobile application location2sms to BlackBerry. I have recently published Android port of location2sms to BlackBerry App Word for PlayBook but I am not satisfied of the quality and I prefer to support the Qt release for BlackBerry devices.

Hi, got a question, will Qt widget apps work good or only QML ? I've got some Qt widget apps published in OVI for symbian, but only one very simple QML app for N9. Any way I'm going to send my proposal.

Hi John_god, Qt Widgets are supported and will work but not to the degree that Qt Quick or Cascades will. To what degree will only be realised by trying to be honest.
Slaine, Welcome. I hope you enjoy your stay.
We have quite a few Application proposals but theres room for plenty more, So please don't be shy and get sending them to us :-)

The playbook is great fun to develop for imo.
I ported 5 of our Qt symbian/N9/android apps back in the spring and won a free playbook offered by RIM for porting native apps over. Two were Qt widget based and the rest were qml (with symbian components I ported over), they look and run great on the playbook. Its much easier to port to now too, use the qnx SDK found here: http://qt-apps.org/content/show.php?content=149637 but update the Qt libs with the latest branch from git as the included libs are way outdated...
Good luck to all of you contestants, you will be pleased with the tab if you win!
By the way, the playbook has a terrible pdf viewer with no search, TOC, etc.
I managed to port the poppler libs over to Qnx and have it running well on the PB, I started making a viewer based on the work done by glad, here http://qt-apps.org/content/show.php?content=149637 and the qt examples included with poppler. I have since lost time and ambition so if anyone is interested in continuing I can send you my hacky code... ;)
Cheers,
Jon -
