    Hi,
I would like to know how many people do Qt mobile application development?
What mobile devices do you use for testing? Are there any non-Symbian devices used as well?
Also do you see the Qt buzz building around you?
    Thanks.

        I hope you meant e7 not n7. Else that's one n-series device I haven't heard of.

I have published two applications to OVI store mainly for symbian3 devices. I have tested them on N8. I am planning to send those two applications to N9 also.

Now, let me give you some hope.... :)

            1. Symbian is here to stay for another 3-4 years.. this is a good time frame for your application to live for.

            2. You have meego picking up. What needs to be noted is only Nokia is stopping meego development, but Intel is betting on it big time. I am sure Intel will not give up on Meego easily. And they will try real hard to find OEMs to make smart phones out of Meego

            3. There are confirmed :) rumors that qt/qml is going to s40. This is a huge opportunity. But we will have to wait till nnouncements come.

So, keep developing for mobile devices..

If I may ask, how has been the reception to the two apps that you have released?

Regarding Qt's future, it may only live on the ' Next Billion ' phones though no one is sure what it is. Symbian and Meego are dead. So the only place Qt has on the mobile space is ' Next Billion ', I guess probably it will be based on Maemo.

Also are people making any serious applications using necessitas on Android ? I would be glad if there are because it is good for Qt to be on the biggest mobile platform.
