Qt Figma Bridge

AFAIK this should work but it will not be visible in Assets tab but rather in Components: [image: 4bac87b2-d7be-4ed2-96d3-7e5911dc4694.png] Moreover, I just tried that with your configuration and the file generated was not empty. Honestly, I do not know what might have happened, your best bet is creating a ticket and attaching the .fig and .qtbridge files.

@Rufledore "..the bridge works fine only with the template project.." Here I understand that you want to use this feature to create your custom templates. The feature currently is used only internally and this might be made available where power users can use this to create custom template components. "..the lack of documentation related to that topic.." Indeed, because the feature will be released with QDS 4.4 with documentation and example projects and complete Qt Quick Controls. "...when we copy and paste, for example, MyButton template.." This is indeed the correct way of using the Control Templates i.e. Copy and paste the complete set of control and then customize it as per your need. Unfortunately, the correct template code might be missing and the released version of QDS does not have the complete functionality to import the templates.

@RandomName22 Which design application are you using(Sketch, Figma, etc.)? Different design tools dictate how to organize your layers. For example, in Figma, your root layer should be a frame. Only frames are exported. It seems your exported content is empty, go through the Qt-Bridge documentation of the respective design tools and see if you are organizing the layers correctly or not.

@MiaPetrovska No. This is not supported. Iterative export(Figma) and import(QDS) is supported but round trip is not.

Since Figma has properties for visible and clip we simply use the already existing properties and have no extra properties on the panel on the bridge.

Hi @jaybi, and welcome! Qt Bridge is only available under the Qt Design Studio Enterprise license, so it's not available in the open-source (Community) version: https://www.qt.io/blog/simplifying-the-commercial-licensing-portfolio

Importing the bridge file can be done by dragging the .qtbridge file onto the form editor window or via the adding assets part of the asset panel. However importing from the bridge is only possible with the Enterprise License. (Not Community or Professional). You can tell what license you have by checking the Welcome Screen. You can tell if you have the correct import plugin if you have the .qtbridge listed in the file formats when adding assets.
