So, Event is over for a few days now, enjoyed QtDevDays and Berlin afterwards (finally beeing attendee :)). The Event has been a huge success, and will be now a yearly conference. Just thought i would mention that we now have a bunch of further information up on the planning page, including a topic focus (one day, we can't just run wild there). In particular those of you who have feeling about KDE need to have a gander! :)

Well, it is not 2.6.0 yet, so it needs a version number bigger than the current stable 2.5.2 and smaller than 2.6.0. Some room for a release candidate 2 (if that is necessary) is also required;-)

I guess the point is, that there is a difference between the compiler used to build Creator (MSVC, as provided by the Creator Trolls), and the compiler we're using to build our own application (MinGw). This will be the case for many users. Anyway, thanks for the links, the 2008 one contains the library that loads with the version of Qt Creator I have installed (2.5.2).

It shouldn't even be possible to patent common concepts, the whole patent story is getting ridiculous. Here we have patent troll Apple, claiming to have invented the rounded rectangle, which is preposterous.
