The debug window closes without error. I reverted to version 18.0.2. In the screenshot at this location in version 19 there is only "Debugger Preset"<img src="https://ddgobkiprc33d.cloudfront.net/74601e15-b3be-459b-b4c6-b3360741e8ce.png" alt="gdb.png" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /><br />

<p dir="auto">I'm not sure if it is related, but <a href="https://qt-project.atlassian.net/browse/QTCREATORBUG-34268" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">https://qt-project.atlassian.net/browse/QTCREATORBUG-34268</a> sounds similar. For that bug is already a patch under review that will land in 19.0.1: <a href="https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt-creator/qt-creator/+/723444" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt-creator/qt-creator/+/723444</a></p>
<p dir="auto">Once that patch is merged (a day later) you can try a snapshot from <a href="https://download.qt.io/snapshots/qtcreator/19.0/19.0.1" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">https://download.qt.io/snapshots/qtcreator/19.0/19.0.1</a></p>
<p dir="auto">I hope that helps.</p>
<p dir="auto">Regards</p>
